*Innovation in Pakistan's Agriculture*
The following measures are needed to develop agriculture in Pakistan on modern lines and bring it at par with developed countries:-
1. Irrigation through modified mature ditches instead of conventional ditches.
2. To meet water scarcity and to build new dams to increase water storage capacity.
3. Use of modern machinery in agriculture i.e. tractor drill and combine harvester etc.
4. Development of laser land leveling technology to level uneven fields.
5. Use of sprinkler irrigation which gas efficient and modern methods for irrigation.
6. Training of farmers on modern technology.
7. Cultivation of crops on tracks.
8. Maintain the number of plants per acre.
9. Cultivation of profitable crops according to market demand.
10. One window operation for improvement of agricultural credit system.
11. New varieties of seeds, proper use of fertilizers and pesticides as per the instructions of experts.
12. When possible we irrigate the entire farm with a single furrow rather than multiple furrows.
13. Application of Tunnel Farming Technology for Cultivation of Season less Fruits and Vegetables.
14. Conducting water analysis of cultivated area and tube wells in the light of instructions from agricultural experts.
*Financial measures taken by the government to increase agricultural production*
1.Fur of laser land leveling technology at subsidized cost to agricultural owners.
2.Facilitation of subsidy to farmers for promotion of super nickeled and drip technology.
3.Issuance of loan scheme for purchase of tractor.
4.Free frame of building materials for the maturation of traditional ab posh skins.
5.Loan facility to farmers on easy terms from agricultural and commercial banks.
6.Supply of fertilizers in abundant quantity and at low cost.
7.Fixation of support prices of commodities.
8.Provision of good fodder and medicine for livestock.
9.Necessary training of livestock related persons and provision of facilities for export of meat and other related products.
10.Implementation of several schemes to increase irrigation resources, especially the construction of Diamer Bahaha Dam and Mohammad Dam.
11.Construction of permanent ponds to store rain and stream water in hilly areas.
12.Prime Minister's Emergency Program launched by the government to increase the income of landless farmers and dairy women.
